Finca Los Angeles is on the west side of the village of Hoja Blanca, sitting between 1525 and 1800 MASL. There are various flowering and fruit trees surrounding the property providing shade for the coffee plants as they grow, and located near mountain spring water that is used for processing.
Arturo Villatoro managed his farm for years while his son, Vielmann, lived in California working there picking fruit. After living away from home for 11 years, Vielmann returned home where he took over managing the family farm. Soon after returning, he bought more land to plant coffee, built more drying patios and housing for the worker. Now along with his wife and siblings, Vielmann work on the farm together and look forward to leaving Finca Los Angeles to their children to continue the family legacy.
