Join us for an interactive public cupping where you’ll test your palate by blind-tasting our three signature flavor profiles—the 3, 6 and 9. Using the official coffee flavor wheel, you will learn to isolate unique tasting notes and explore the sensory differences that define each of our coffees. It is a fun, hands-on opportunity to sharpen your coffee knowledge and discover exactly which profiles you enjoy most.
The Experience
We will guide you through a professional "blind" cupping, where you will taste three of our signature flavor profiles—the 3, the 6, and the 9.
Professional Protocol: Learn the standardized "cupping" method, including the dry fragrance analysis, the crust break, and the art of the slurp to fully aerate the coffee.
Guided Discovery: Armed with the SCA Coffee Flavor Wheel, you will work to identify the hidden notes in each bowl. We will explore how origin, processing, and roast level create the distinct flavors in your cup.
The Reveal: After we’ve all sampled and documented our findings, we will break down the profiles together to see who can successfully match their notes to the correct coffee.
