EPOCH 9 is our everyday black coffee. Smooth and versatile, these coffees can be enjoyed any time of the day. We like to think of them as our second cup of the day! Always in a green bag.

Jairo has been involved in coffee for over 50 years, managing the AGROCAFE in Colombia, purchasing and maintaining his own farms in Quindio, and helping his children Carlos and Felipe begin COFINET in 2016. This Caturra variety comes from Santa Monica, a farm I had the privilege of touring and tasting in September of 2024. This coffee is a washed process, exposing the cherries to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped. The parchment was then gently washed and dried in a temperature-controlled mechanical dryer until 20% moisture was achieved. Following this, the coffee was laid on covered patios for 3 days to reach a moisture % of 10.5 percent. This coffee has exceptionally clean dried fruit- tasting notes and stone fruit sweetness. The attention to detail in producing this coffee is evident when brewing!
