NewGround Cumaccha - Natural Peru

NewGround is a specialty roaster in Oxford, England, built on the belief that coffee can change lives well beyond the cup. Through the NewGround Foundation, they work to break the cycle of reoffending. They run a barista training academy inside UK prisons and probation settings, then help graduates find jobs in the coffee industry after release. The business and the charity are tied together: the Foundation is the largest shareholder in the roasting company, so profits from every bag go straight back into that work. NewGround was also one of the UK’s first B Corp–certified roasters. They are certified carbon neutral, and they roast on an energy-efficient Loring roaster. It’s coffee with real conviction, and we’re proud to share it.
