Mexico is the farthest north we source coffee and predominantly comes from the Veracruz region on the Atlantic coast of Mexico. Our Mexican offerings normally come through our importing partners at Osito but this came from my friend Megan at Mercanta Coffee Traders in Hawaii, both are doing amazing work connecting roasters to the most consistent lots.
Mexican coffees have a pronounced dark chocolate bitterness and expressive bold characteristics. While some coffees in Mexico can come off quite earthy or herbaceous, this Typica showed a complexity that we were enraptured by.
This coffee tastes amazing on espresso, milk drinks, and immersion methods.
